Credentials empower potential.

The Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence (PACE) is the American Society of Administrative Professional’s (ASAP) certification program. ASAP is proud to be recognized as a member of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence, the leading professional association for credentialing organizations. What does that mean for you? Earning your PACE certification will broaden your knowledge, polish your expertise, and solidify your commitment to turning the position you have into the role that you want. There’s a reason professionals who earn their PACE are statistically more in demand by employers. In fact, certified administrative professionals earn more annually than their non-certified peers*.

Ask. Learn. Grow.

Your PACE program includes four Proficiency Modules, each of which focuses on honing a skillset highly valued in the administrative profession. The Proficiency Modules feature multimodal instruction, incorporating text, video, knowledge checks, and quizzes, all designed to support your learning. Each PACE enrollment also includes three attempts at the on-demand, online exam.

The program is self-study, so you progress at your own pace. The total program takes up to an estimated 22 hours to complete, and you’ll have one full year from purchase to finish. We typically recommend spreading out your studying over 3-6 months. Your program includes sample study plans to help you stay on track.

The PACE Final Exam is an online, open-book exam featuring 120 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes. The passing grade is 80%, and you’ll have three attempts included with your program. It can be taken anytime from your ASAP E-Learning Center. Your exam score is shown immediately after submission. If you don’t pass, you’ll receive a detailed breakdown by Proficiency Module to focus your studying. Additional retakes are available for $100 for a set of three more attempts.
